About Taylor Pharmacy
We are an independently owned pharmacy located in Hardinsburg, Kentucky that has been in operation since 1924.
Currently we employ 20 individuals, and have four pharmacists on staff, myself, Emily Morton, Sarah O'Reilly and Mindy Bruington. In April 1991 we doubled the size of our retail facility, and with this new addition we have concentrated our efforts primarily on the pharmacy, home I.V. infusion, respiratory, c-pap and durable medical equipment (DME) aspects of the business.
We have a complete home health showroom area that displays our durable medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, home oxygen set ups, C-PAP services, ostomy care, wound care and a full line of diabetic supplies, and much more. We have a separate billing office and warehouse for these health care items. Kim Howell, Sarah Hinton and Bridget Henning are currently in charge of the home health services.
We provide prescriptions, home I.V., and the home medical equipment services for the following counties: Breckinridge, Grayson, Meade, Hancock and Hardin.
We provide free delivery of all equipment, provide family instruction, and also we handle the billing aspects of the service for the patient. We make it a policy to verify insurance coverage on all therapies. We accept most all private insurance as well as Medicare, KMAP and Passport. We let the patients and their families know in advance of what, if any, their co payments will be.
We have a toll free number for all of our patients, as well as 24 hour emergency services. We truly are a "one stop" source for pharmaceuticals, durable medical equipment, respiratory needs and home infusion services.
All of the above extras are important, and necessary, however it is the level of service that will determine the success of any operation. We are in the service business!
We stress to our staff to make certain that each patient is treated fairly and honestly. We see to it that the extra effort is given to make sure that all of our patients are satisfied with their service from with Taylor Pharmacy. You can rest assured that patients referred to Taylor Pharmacy will be given the best of care and service. We are very proud to announce that as of May 2008 we became a CMS certified accredited medical provider.
